Barrister Nyesom Wike, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party has been declared winner of the just concluded gubernatorial election held on Saturday, 11th April. This was announced by INEC despite the fact that International observers called for cancellation of the election in the state.
Wike had a total number of 1,029,102 votes while his rival, Dakuku Peterside of the All Progressive Congress had a total number of 124,896 votes.
