According to UN High Commissioner for Human Right, Zeid Ra'ad Zeid al Hussein, the boko haram group have repeatedly used children as human bombs, including a case of a 14 yrs old girl carrying a baby on her back and detonated a bomb in a market place.
He said that his knowledge was based on reports showing that boko haram is using children as "expendable cannon fodders" in their attack.
He also charged the terrorists with abducting both children and adults in large number and subjecting the women and girls to slavery, forced labour and sexual violence.
