The APC governorship candidate in Kaduna State Nasir El-Rufai continued his one-million-man rally on Monday. The rally restricted movement of people within the state capital due to the enormous crowd.
But the rally later became violent as APC supporters clashed with the PDP supporters in the state. There were no deaths on records though but some people sustained injuries.
The APC supporters tore down posters and banners of Goodluck Jonathan and his vice as well as that of the current governor Mukhtar Yero.
The APC supporters almost got their way into the Goodluck/Sambo campaign office but were held back by strong resistance from the PDP supporters.
The Kaduna State Security Operatives later arrived the scene, successfully maintained order and also prevented the PDP campaign office from been set ablaze.
