Some APC, PDP members as well as their supporters clashed in Borno state destroying several houses and vehicles. This happened due to alleged importation of thugs to disrupt the on going election.
An eye witness said that the clash was triggered when PDP supporters observed that one of the Borno state commissioners stormed southern Borno with armed thugs in order to disrupt the election.
Those seriously injured have been rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Gombe, for treatment.
