Buhari orders custom to release seized food items

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved that the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) release 150 truckloads of rice seized from smugglers to the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development. This information was disclosed in a tweet from the federal government's Twitter handle on Tuesday, April 7.

The out going president on Wednesday said that if the President elect, Muhammadu Buhari was going to probe the Jonathan administration then he should do same to other past administrations.
President Goodluck Jonathan made this comments due to calls from various sectors that his administration should be probed.

Kenya: Kenya Aviation Authority detains a Nigerian plane

The Kenya Civil Aviaton Authority detained a Nigerian Aircraft and its crew at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport since the Easter weekend. The aircraft flew in a Minister from Nigeria.

It was detained for allegedly landing at the airport without permit.

Though the Minister that came into the country with the flight has left with a commercial flight, leaving the aircraft and its crew behind.
